Reverse Emerald via The Wall Home!
Sun, 26 Nov 2017
from 7:00am to 10:30am
by Paula McGovern
place
St Lawrence Way, Rowville
Starting at Rowville Lakes Shopping Village we will head out onto the bike track to UFTG, where we will ride to Belgrave via Old Belgrave Road to Upwey. We get onto Burwood Highway and head out past Belgrave to Emerald across the mountain. Coffee stop in Emerald at Zest Café.
Then the fun begins! We head out the back of Emerald to Monbulk via David Hill Road and then onto Olinda via The Wall. We have been going down it but this week we go up! It is one arm of the Crucifix ride, so here is your chance to relive the “joy”! From Olinda we will roll back down to Rowville, via the 1 in 20, Forest Road and through the back streets of Rowville back to the start point. Coffee stop again for those that wish to partake.
Distance: 63km
Elevation: 1200vm

Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring lights and be self sufficient with spares. Please arrive on time and reply on Team App to assist us with planning. Thanks
Rowville Riders highly recommend that you have your own insurance. Bicycle Network or Cycling Australia are good options to explore if you don’t already have insurance. Riders ride at their own risk. By choosing to ride you accept this risk.
