*Let’s revisit this route that we rode back in Mid Feb a week after the wind storms. Remember this Great Ride –
https://youtu.be/N-XTEWz_BdAStarting at Station street Gembrook (opposite the CFA)
There is parking on station street and in a small carpark opposite the CFA building (see pin on map below)
There is a couple of ks of bitumen at the start before we hit 20 odd ks of fast gravel trending down hill 🤩but what goes down must come back up 😫. After a small bump in the middle we will start to head back up towards Gembrook with a quick stop at the historic Tonimbuk Charcoal Kiln, before finishing off with a 2km steep bitumen climb back up to Gemmy for a coffee.
-This is a no drop ride.
-Not road bike friendly…You could try, but I wouldn’t (and you won’t be smiling on the crunchy stuff like the rest of us)🤣
Distance: 51km 800vm

Rowville Riders highly recommend that you have your own insurance. Bicycle Network or AusCycling are good options to explore if you don’t already have insurance. You ride at your own risk.
