Rowville Riders signature ride! A good one to do if you are new to RR or getting back into cycling. The bunch will ride in 2 × 2 formation following the wheel and adhering to all road rules.
Two Group Ride. You can decide which group you will ride with.

The quicker group will head off at 7am and group 2 will leave 2min afterwards. Feel free to have a go in the quicker group. If you get dropped or find it a bit too much, ease up knowing the other group are coming up from behind. No one is to be behind the Lantern Rouge. The steepest part of the ride is Mt Wellington which is 5km from the start and only 650m long.

Group 1: 7.00am Faster Ride Average Speeds 28-30km/hr
Group 2: 7.05am Usual RR Ride 25-28km/hr

For those riders joining the ride at Springvale Road. Please wait at the bus stop and join the rear of the appropriate group as they pass. The main group will slow but not stop.
Group 1 Pick up at Springvale Rd 7.20am OR Group 2 Pick up at Springvale Rd 7.25am.

Starting at Wellington Village Shopping Centre we head down Wellington and North Roads to Beach Road and down to Port Melbourne. Re-group points will be at the top of “Mt Wellington” at the bus stop and at the service road just after the intersection at East Boundary Road then on to Princes Pier for a photo stop! Return via the same route except we will stop at Oasis for coffee!

We will ride back as one group at a steady pace.
