We’re proud to be shortly unveil the latest evolution of the Rowville Riders cycling kit – a bold
expression of our club’s identity, crafted with both high visibility and aesthetics in mind.

The Story Behind the Design:

This kit isn’t just about looking good—it tells a story. Inspired by the landscapes we ride, the
design draws from the terrain that defines our rides—from the beach roads to the ferny clad climbs
of the Dandenongs, and everything in between. Using aspects from the mountain in our logo—and
by inverting that mountain—we’ve created an abstract that represents the journey from the
coastline, along the iconic Grey road, and up into the climbs of the Dandenong Ranges. We’ve
blended style, visibility, and functionality into one cohesive look that captures the spirit of every
ride.
The design process was a true collaboration within the club, by listening to passionate members,
regarding a more modern and minimalistic kit. We also had the privilege of working alongside
Twain Forsythe from Design by Twain. A passionate cyclist himself, Twain brought a unique
creative edge to the process. His close work with Velo Craft—where he’s known for designing
some of their most striking and technically detailed bike paint schemes—helped elevate the kit’s
aesthetic to something truly special.

Design Details-
• Colour Palette: The kit features a striking combination of two bright oranges, deep navy,
and a tie-in of Grey to connect the elements. The orange adds high visibility and energy,
while the navy grounds the design with a sleek, minimalistic, and modern feel.
• Minimalist Aesthetic: Clean lines, subtle accents, and a clutter-free look keep the focus on
movement and form. No unnecessary distractions—just streamlined, purposeful design.
• Club Identity: The Rowville Riders logo is proudly displayed on the chest and back, with
understated branding on the Knicks and accessories, in whites silicon text. It’s a kit that
stands out without shouting, and one that reflects the pride we have in our club.
• Performance Fit: After doing our due diligence, we contacted a number of kit suppliers
including Pedla, Pedal Mafia, and Cuore. While all offered great options, none were able
to fully accommodate our club’s specific needs—such as vest pockets, streamlined online
ordering, and reasonable minimum order quantities.

As a result, we’ve made the decision to stay with our trusted supplier, Tinelli, who have
consistently delivered quality and reliability. The new kit features an updated performance bib
short, offering improved comfort and fit. Whether you’re on the road or deep into a gravel
grind, this kit will move with you.
