Dear Rowville Riders,
A quick but significant note regarding Glenda Signorini. After the excitement of the Tour de France and the Olympics our very own Glenda will be donning the Green and Gold and will represent Australia at the upcoming UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. It is being held in Aalborg, Denmark. She will soon be in Denmark via a brief stopover in Singapore and will be putting in some final training sessions before her races on the 29 August and on the 1 September. Her first race is the 33 klm time trial, and her second race is 112.4 klms with 946vm of climbing. Glenda is in the 70–74-year-old age category. Glenda has engaged a professional coach for her preparation and I’m sure you will all join with me to wish her and John, her husband, the very best on their on her epic adventure.
