On Friday, 24th November 2023, an e-bike that was left on charge overnight exploded, resulting in a fire that has severely damaged their home.
The occupants of the house, a couple and their 5 children, were able to escape the blaze. Unfortunately, the fire has destroyed all of their belongings, which were sadly not insured.
With our Christmas party on Sunday, the committee has agreed that this is an excellent opportunity for our members to contribute to a fundraising effort that is being held to assist the family.
For those that are attending the Christmas function, we ask if you could make donation, even if it is a gold coin.
For those that aren’t attending the Christmas function, you can make a direct donation to the Rowville Riders bank account. We will then arrange for the total donation to be transferred on to Share Space Inc, who are coordinating the fundraising.
