Hi Everyone

I hope this message finds you all safe and well, and ready for Christmas!
On Behalf of the RR committee, we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
RR has certainly had a busy end to the year. Our Christmas party was celebrated in sunshine and with 30 Members attending. It was a great afternoon of socialising off the bike. A Big thank you to Brendan, Chris, and Paul Brewer for running the event. Your efforts were appreciated by all those who attended.
Our traditional fundraising ride to Sky High was also well supported with 40 members riding up to the top of the Dandenong’s for a coffee, a muffin and to raise money for Beyond Blue. Thank you to all those who made donations, $490 has been raised and will be donated on behalf of Rowville Riders.
As you may already be aware RR missed out on the Club rooms. Although this was disappointing, the Knox Council was very impressed with our application and has committed to working with us in 2023. I would like to thank Paula for an amazing effort in putting the application together. The overall process has been very positive and amazing learning experience for the committee.
The Year is not over yet we still have tomorrows Christmas Ride to Sky High, a Bean run on Boxing Day to burn off those Christmas calories and our traditional Ride up Mt Dona Buang on the very last day of the year.
RR would like to thank all our members for your support in 2022 and we look forward to a great year of Riding in 2023.

PS: on a personal note, I would like to thank all those that have texted or called during my recent bout of covid. It has certainly been a very difficult 2 weeks, but Michelle and I are recovering well just not as fast as we would like. Your thoughts were appreciated.
